Can you imagine having one home phone and one faucet with clean, running water for an entire county? Can you imagine washing your laundry outside in the same river you use to cook and shower in?
I cried many nights, moving from house to house to try to find a home and worked very, very, very hard to get where I am today. I still have a very long way to go. The reason I have never given up and will never give up is because I remember watching my late Mother struggle to feed all of us and I have always prayed to God to please help me be strong and healthy so that I can work hard to help people. God has listened and given me a passion for fashion and an enthusiasm for helping and making people smile.
As a result, my fiancé and I have created two great wristbands that symbolize many cultures that reinforced and shaped my life. I called them the “ONE MIND, DIFFERENT COLORS†wristband. I believe if we all come together as one mind and help each other as human beings, despite color, our world will be a much better place. Many people of many cultures have helped me through my life: Asian, African, European, North American, South American, Australian, etc… I learned so much from them all and they from me. This is the way I see life: helping each other to better our world, not our country, but our world, because if this world ends today, our country will not matter. I believe us as human beings coming together can save our world, so that our countries can excel and our kids can benefit from it for many, many, many years.
